Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CryptoHorseClub (“CryptoHorseClub”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our educational trading software, dashboards, indicators, automation tools (if/when offered), website, and community channels (the “Services”).

Last updated: 11/19/2025

1. Who We Are

CryptoHorseClub operates as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider of educational trading software and tools. We do not hold customer funds or provide brokerage, custody, or discretionary portfolio management. Our Services are designed to help users research markets and understand rule-based trading systems, as described in our End-User License Agreement (EULA).

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

  • Account & contact information – such as your name, email address, login details, and other information you provide when creating an account, purchasing a Product, or contacting us.
  • Billing & transaction information – order history, subscription status, and payment-related details processed by our payment providers (for example Shopify Payments or other processors). We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Usage data – information about how you use our Services, such as pages visited, features used, error logs, device/browser type, IP address, approximate location (based on IP), and timestamps.
  • Community & communications – messages or usernames you share in our Discord or other community spaces, and communications you send to us (support tickets, feedback, emails).
  • API keys & exchange connections – if you choose to connect third-party exchange accounts (e.g., via API keys) for dashboards or optional automation features, we may store encrypted API credentials and metadata necessary to provide the Service.
    • For read-only dashboards and analytics (Coming soon), you can choose to connect API keys that allow us to view balances/positions and related data but do not permit trading or withdrawals (where supported by your exchange).
    • For Educational Trading Automation (if you enable it), you may choose to create a separate API key with trade/order permissions so that your own rules can send orders from your account. We do not require or request withdrawal rights on these keys.
  • Webhooks & automation data (if/when offered) – such as rule triggers, signal payloads, execution status, and technical logs required to operate user-directed automation and monitor system health.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including provisioning access to indicators, dashboards, and tools.
  • Operate subscription billing, account management, and customer support.
  • Secure our systems, prevent abuse, detect fraud, and monitor system performance.
  • Develop new features, research aggregate usage, and improve user experience.
  • Send important service-related communications (e.g., account notices, billing notices, material changes to terms or policies).
  • Send optional educational content, product updates, or marketing communications, where permitted and subject to your preferences.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our EULA, Refund Policy, and NFA Disclaimer.

4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)

Where applicable data protection laws (such as the EU/UK GDPR) apply, we process personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contract – to provide the Services you purchase or request.
  • Legitimate interests – for security, service improvement, analytics, and to prevent abuse, in a way that respects your rights.
  • Consent – for certain optional cookies, marketing communications, or where required by law.
  • Legal obligation – to comply with applicable laws, court orders, or regulatory requirements.

5. Cookies & Analytics

We and our service providers (such as Shopify, analytics, and marketing tools) may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to:

  • keep you logged in and remember your preferences;
  • measure traffic and usage patterns;
  • understand which pages and features are most useful; and
  • support basic marketing and attribution.

You can usually adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies or notify you when a cookie is set. Some features of the Services may not function properly without certain essential cookies.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers / processors – such as Shopify, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics services, email services, customer support tools, and developers who help us operate and improve the Services.
  • Third-party platforms you choose to connect – for example, exchanges or brokers where you explicitly connect API keys or webhooks. We only transmit information necessary to operate the connection or automation you enable.
  • Community platforms – if you join our Discord or other community spaces, your interactions there may be visible to other members under that platform’s own privacy terms.
  • Legal, safety & compliance – when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public (for example, investigating suspected fraud, abuse, or security incidents).
  • Business transfers – in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. API Keys, Exchange Data & Security

If you connect third-party exchange accounts via API keys:

  • For read-only dashboards and analytics (coming soon), we recommend using read-only API keys that allow us to view balances/positions but do not permit trading or withdrawals (where supported by your exchange).
  • If you enable Educational Trading Automation, you may choose to create a separate API key with trade/order permissions so that your own rules can send orders from your exchange account. We do not require or request withdrawal rights on these keys.
  • We store API keys, where required, using reasonable technical and organizational safeguards and restrict access to personnel who need it to operate the Service.
  • We do not take custody of your funds and cannot move assets independently of the permissions you grant to your exchange keys.

No system can be 100% secure. We use reasonable measures designed to protect your information, but you are also responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, using strong passwords, enabling 2FA where available, and managing your own API key permissions.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and support business operations. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and applicable legal requirements.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as:

  • accessing a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • requesting correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • requesting deletion of certain data, subject to legal and contractual limits;
  • objecting to or requesting restriction of certain processing;
  • withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent; and
  • opting out of marketing emails by using the “unsubscribe” link in those messages.

To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details in the “Contact Us” section. We may need to verify your identity before responding to your request.

10. International Data Transfers

Our Services may be operated from, and your data may be processed in, countries other than your own (for example, the United States), where data protection laws may differ. We take appropriate steps to ensure that international transfers comply with applicable laws and that your data remains protected in line with this Privacy Policy.

11. Relationship to EULA, Refund Policy & NFA Disclaimer

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our EULA, Refund & Returns Policy, and NFA / Not Financial Advice Disclaimer. Those documents describe the nature of our Services as educational trading software/tools, our digital-goods / no-refund framework, and our limitations of liability.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and may provide additional notice (such as via email or an in-app banner). Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect signifies your acceptance of the updated Policy.
